Ok i finally finished work now on to my Wiki Assignment!.........YEAH EE:)
Tash great job filling the table with our thoughts, love your poster that dog is beautiful and i think a great concept to get students engaged!.
I have been giving thought to the resource that i should use and i was thinking of it being the two contrsting pictures
I have pasted them below. As an activity that would get students to start thinking
about contrasting and similarities between certain features whether it be insects of dragons or humans i thought would be ideal to use these
pictures! linking it to the english aspect students can talk about the vectors in the second picture, different angles, demand/ offer, context, modality..
and the list goes on... furthermore, it is synonymous to the outcome we are trying to satisfy - with children verbally comparing and contrasting these images
' acknowledges that artists make artworks for different reasons and that various interpretations are possible'. overall, a great way to buil vocab.
along with other resources specifically based on insects and dragong the knowledge that students will get from this activity can be embedded throughout
my intro lesson of comparing and contrasting drangons and insects. What do you all think???? Signing Off Maree :).
* This activiy will also lay foundations especially for your poster actvity Tasha , hope it is Ok! showing sequencing and great flow
as the lessons we do prepare and build students knowledge the activities.
Hi girls,
I thought I would include this Dragons flowchart I did for Multilingual last semester. I'm not sure if it helps anyone, but it's here just in case! Flowchart_Dragon_Types_22.04.09.ppt
